is survived by his wife of 74 years, Evelyn; three children, Janice (Butch) Comstock, Keith (Eileen) Frum and Betsy (Bruce) Warfield; daughter-in-law, Penelope Frum; two grandsons, Ben Comstock and Wes Comstock; and sister-in-law, Patricia Skeins.He purchased the Keuka Lumber Company prior to moving to Florida, where he had a construction and development company.Howard was a council leader for the Boy Scouts of America and was awarded the Silver Beaver Award. While living in Florida, Howard was well known in his community for his talent for woodworking.Howard began his career at the Elliott Company in Jeannette, PA as an Engineer.He transitioned to the Army for the course of World War II, where he served as a Chief Warrant Officer in Europe, finishing his service at Fort Eustis, VA.
